With over 15 years of experience in risk management, complex investigations, and intelligence, Sam Johnson founded Avra Intelligence as a dedicated private investigations division of Sam Johnson Consulting Inc., his Toronto-based risk advisory firm serving global corporations and multi-jurisdictional legal teams.

Sam’s work sits at the intersection of legal, corporate, and operational challenges—bringing clarity where facts are buried and decisions carry weight. His experience spans corporate and industrial risk, investment due diligence, legal investigations, HR and workplace matters, intellectual property protection, and asset tracing and recovery.

Holding a Master of Arts in Criminology and Sociolegal Studies from the University of Toronto, as well as an Honours Bachelor of Arts from York University, Sam combines academic depth with extensive practical expertise. As a licensed investigator authorized by the Ministry of the Solicitor General, he ensures every engagement is executed with discretion, precision, and results.
